Qui-Gon got up when the squad began moving out. A few aimed their guns at him but he he smiled and moved over to Renz. "I will stand by my word, my full cooperation is yours, unless someone is hurt", he had no doubt his agreement to assistance would surprise the Lieutenant. He had deeper motives, his plan was to get captured. That way he could be led to Vader, which was mandatory if a Jedi was found. Qui-Gon didn't know why, but he was drawn towards meeting the monster he created. Where would the Jedi be if he hadn't put his heart where his mouth was. Would master Windu have killed sidious, would their even have been a Clone Wars? The clones would never have been discovered, because Zam Wesell would have killed Padmè and the kyber dart would never have been fired. Qui-Gon started all this and one way or another, one of them had too die.

The Ewoks partied with their new helmets. They used them as drums, the dance seemed to go on for hours. Horror struck instantly. A piece of flaming debris from the star destroyed crashed through the wooden treehouses closest to the north. More debris spread apart and crashed down. Then a ground shaking crash came when the bulk of Final Triumph hit the nearby polar region. Each Ewok picked up a weapon and hopped toward the explosions...

"I'm not sure what sort of game you're playing, Master Jinn, but I'll bet you're up to something. Still, I'm here to obey orders, and if you assist in that goal all the better for us."
Renz looked over the "laser sword" he had been given. It was a masterfully created weapon, elegant and smooth but with a touch of personality. To see a full regiment of Jedi wielding these weapons would be impressive to say the least. The officer was jerked violently from his thoughts when several chunks of star destroyer came raining down through the trees. There was no longer any way Renz could deny the current events. The Final Triumph had been destroyed, and the Imperial troops had no way to leave the forest moon save in Rebel custody. And the Rebels, being terrorists, would no doubt shoot them on sight. Renz hooked the lightsaber to his belt and turned to his squad.
"If Rebel forces are in the area we'll need to act quickly. We must gather as many survivors as we can, then make for the polar region. With any luck we'll be able to find a functional holonet transciever there, which we can use to contact the fleet. Now, let's locate those escape pods. The fewer Imperial personnel the Rebels execute, the better."
The squad combed the forest moon's surface, trying to ignore the frantic natives as they brandished spears at the remnants of the hull. Though four pods had landed in the area scanners picked up no signs of life from within. The crew, or most of it, had been killed on impact with the surface. Renz looked down, silently mourning their passing, then up again. A tiny dot had appeared in one of the scanners: a weak life form, either very small or very injured. The squad managed to release the pod door and the Captain tumbled out. He was bleeding from a gash in his forehead, and it seemed that at least one of his legs was broken. Still, he was alive. His eyes fluttered as he looked up at Renz.
"Renz, you survived. We have to... contact... the fleet... polar region... hurry, Rebels coming..."
"Captain, stay with us. We'll get you out of this mess."
PU-140, the team medic, bent and picked up the injured officer. The mission was now doubly critical. If the squad could reach the bridge section they could not only get evacuated, but there might be medical equipment there that could save the Captain. If they couldn't reach it, he would die slowly and painfully. If there were other survivors elsewhere they would have to make their own way to the far north. Renz's mission was critically important. He and his squad moved out, two troopers moving behind Qui-Gon to ensure that he didn't make a break for it. Time was the enemy as much as any Rebel, and it remained to be seen if it could be defeated.

Home One blasted through the moon's atmosphere, charging toward the location of the N-1 star-craft. "You have done the Rebellion a great service. You are a brave man sir." Ackabar said before returning to the bridge.
"Admiral. One of our probes has picked up what looks to be a small Imperial squad." the Captain said before bringing the live feed up on the screen.
"Renz, you survived. We {Static} to... contact... {Static} polar region... {Static}, Rebels coming..."
"Captain, {Static} -ith us. We'll {Static} out of this mess."
"Captain what's wrong with the transmission?" Admiral Ackbar asked.
"It seems it is some type of environmental effect. We're not exactly sure though Admiral." the Captain said turning off the feed.
Once Home One reached the N-1 they quickly landed, thankful that the clearing was large enough to accomidate their enormous girth. Admiral Ackbar and a group of about twenty rebels hurried off the ship. "Alright men we will be heading towards the location of the live feed and hope to find Master Jinn." he said holding his Incinerator Rifle at his side.
The Rebels and Ackbar ran through the forest, trying to be as quiet as possible. They soon came across a few of the natives with Stormtrooper Helmets. 'Lets hope they can understand me.' Ackbar though before saying, "Greetings. Where did you get those helmets from?"

He saw the man lying their dying. He knew he would die far before they arrived at the polar station. "Renz, trust me here, lay the man on the ground. I can help, if you let me", he said as he picked up the imperial captain. Qui-Gon carefully ran his fingers across the captain's forehead. The wounds began to heal. Qui-Gon turned to Renz. "This has only put him to sleep, bought him time, and ceased the bleeding to death circumstance. The new skin on his forehead is very fragile and will break in any collisions. He needs medical attention. But he has more time now", Qui-Gon muttered as he nodded to the Lieutenant. They continued down the path and Qui-Gon took the scanner from Renz's. "You will not need this, it is not accurate, but i am", he grinned as he threw it in the forest and opened a pod. In the pod seemed to be a perfectly fine unconcious imperial...

A group of men and a fish strode up towards Logray and the other Ewoks...
"Greetings. Where did you get those helmets from?"
That phrase was alittle similiar to an Ewok challenging call, 'Etin. er dose melhe rom'. An Ewok picked up a spear and jammed in into the side of a soldiers leg. That soldiers blaster rang out an injured an ewok. Logray cried out and with him other Ewok's cried out and many of them charged toward the rebel throwing rocks and spears...Logray shot flames from father sun out of his staff.

Shocked did not begin to describe the expression on Renz's face. Perhaps there was some truth to this "force" after all? Master Jinn had healed the Captain's gashes with a flick of his hand and proved more accurate than an excellent quality sensor. Perhaps this was why the Emperor hated them so much: they might rival even him in power.
"Err... Thank you, Master Jinn. I don't know that anyone I've ever tried to arrest has been this... helpful. PU-140, let the Jedi give you a hand. I now believe that what he can do is beyond the capabilities of a field medic's kit, potent though it may be. PU-143, we'll need you to carry the other crew member until he regains consciousness. Let's move!"
Native war cries, then a human yell of pain met Renz's ears. The Rebels were close by, perhaps being assaulted for some reason. Fortunately the squad could see the region of plateaus where the forest ended. Beyond the canyons lay the ice caps and, hopefully, the bridge section of the Final Triumph. The squad moved at a run, no one bothering to check on the Jedi. He had proved his worth, and Renz was beginning to have second thoughts about his orders...

"Men defend yourselves! Try not to kill them!" Ackbar shouted as a man beside was knocked unconsious by a flying rock and hit the ground with a thud. Ackbar knew his Incinerator Rifle would, well Incinerate the poor little creatures so he quickly strapped the rifle to his back and pulled out a small assassins pistol and fired a blaster bolt into the leg of an advancing Ewok.
The small Rebel squad did as told an tried only to hit the little fury creatures with non-leathal shots but trying to hit the small creatures at all would be a challenge to begin with.
Soon the number of attacking Ewok's began to thin but a few of the Rebels lay on the ground either unconsious or injured by a spear.
