Qui-Gon was born on Dantooine, and during his self-exile thought it to be the best place for him to live. He preferred Dantooine because it was peaceful and Jedi ran the government. Qui-Gon had taken his seat as a Jedi Councilman on Dantooine. With only small problems that could be easily sorted out. He chose to live in a small house with a SoroSuub landing pad occupied by his SoroSuub fighter. He had recently sent out a transmission to his friend Cin Drallig. Cin Drallig has continualy kept Qui-Gon knowledgeable on the events in Coruscant, he was supposed to arrive today...

Cin came out of hyperspace near Dantooine and hit the thrusters. "Hey R2-D8. How long until we reach the planet surface?" Cin said to his droid. A couple of beeps emanated from the droid in the back which translated into, "Approximately twenty minutes until landing." Cin smiled and said, "Thanks R2." he said, "It will be nice to see my old friend Qui-Gon again."

Qui-Gon strode from his house and down the grassy hills, to a cliff. He could see the space port, the Enclave, the Authority building, and the cantina. He began to slide himself down the cliff until he landed. All of the sudden he heard barking, he turned to see two Kath hounds. Qui-Gon calmed them with a beast mind trick but was interrupted when a man aimed a blaster at him. A beast trainer, while at gun point the two beasted collided with him, and out of the bush came four more men. The beasts violently flew in the air due to a force push, and Qui-Gon lept up with his lightsaber ignited. Four more men came out of a cave carrying heavy repeating blasters and an aretech rifle. Then a swoop bike arrived and thats when Qui-Gon learnt that a may be a bit more of a difficult mess. Qui-Gon recently encouraged the council to ban this gang from the local pavilion. Big mistake!

"Hmmm." Cin said as he flew over the plains of Dantooine toward the space port. He looked out on the plains and as he flew over one of the valleys he saw a large group of thugs beginning to encircle what looked to be, "Qui-Gon?" he said. Cin quickly locked on to the man's Force signature that confirmed, "It is him. R2 switch to auto pilot!" Cin quickly hit the ejection button as the thingypit burst open sending him flying out of the fighter. He pulled out his saber and ignited it as he decended toward Qui-Gon.

Qui-Gon barely flinched when Cin landed beside him. A wide grin escaped his face as red bolts blurred around them, "I can fend for myself...thanks!". Blaster bolts deflected everywhere as Qui-Gon twirled his saber. Although with the noise, speech would nearly be inaudible Qui-Gon spoke regardless. "Try not to further anger this clan, which is actually much larger than this group...Aim to disarm, only!", he shouted as he slashed a pistol in half and knocked a man out with the butt of his hilt. The two as a team made quick work of gang together. The autopilot on the swoop bike would bring the incapacitated group to the council.
"Lets head back before more arrive", he said reassuringly as he crossed infront of Cin.

"Wow. That was excellerating." Cin said joyfully.
"Lets head back before more arrive."
"Whatever you think is best my old friend." Cin said as he switched off his saber and clipped it to his belt. "That was not exactly what I planned on doing during this visit but it's still nice to see you again Qui-Gon."

"That was not exacted what I planned on doing during this visit but it's still nice to see you again Qui-Gon."
"I don't know where i would be without you...Old friend", he emphasized his last two words. "Indulge me will you, How is Keto's training shaping out, she has been your padawan since i met Skwalker, she must be near Knighthood?", he smiled and turned to Cin. In fact indulge me on many things going on with the Jedi for my house is not nearby yet.

Cin followed along side Qui-Gon as they talked. "Well, yes, Serra has been doing great. It wont be much longer until she takes the trials. But she will pass with flying colors." he said before continuing on, "The war, although unfortunate for the loss of life, is going well the Republic has been victorious, for the most part."
"So how has exile been? I'm sure that you've had plenty of time to reflect and meditate." Cin said as a strong gust of wind blew by.

Qui-Gon chuckled, what did he accomplish during his time of solitude. Nothing, perhaps because nothing could be done, he exiled himself because it was necessary for Anakin and Obi-Wan, because what happened to Qui-Gon in the Naboo shaft was supposed to kill him, but it didn't. Before he was stabbed he saw two numbers and when the lightsaber pierced his skin in a split second years of the future flashed through his head. He sensed his death was imminent, he sensed it was necessary for Obi-Wan and Anakin. But it never came, he defied the force. He didn't know why. Obviously though he couldn't be near his old apprentice and Anakin, for he was supposed to be dead and out of their lives. This solitude proved as a good subsititution.
On there way to his house Qui-Gon repeated each of these thoughts aloud to Cin Drallig and awaited an Old Friend's reply.

"Quite a puzzle indeed", he smiled sadly.
"Those thugs, they killed people, the council couldn't tie them to it but we all knew. I encouraged the council to banish them from the city. They have been after me for weeks, I'm safest in the city, but i prefer out here. More peaceful, plus if i left that would mean they would win", Qui-Gon chuckled challengingly.
"Expect to draw your weapon, my home is just over this hill and I can picture who may be there", He carelessly unattached his saber.
"Shall we?", he smiled encouragingly.

ooc: yay battle that means i can have one liners lol jp bic: "Lets." Cin said unattaching his saber as well. He ignited his blade and watched its emerald green beauty slide out of the hilt. Cin walked over the hill and saw more thugs there, "Well thats not suprising." he said then he had a thought, "Hey Qui-Gon you know of the power Combustion do you not. I think this would be a good situation in which to use it." Cin said noticing a few speeder bikes.

"Indeed it would", Qui-Gon looked at Cin as the thugs turned to see them. "The biggest explosion will arise if we each take a speeder farthest apart, and move inward combusting one by one", he said as he deflected bolts of blaster fire. The thugs seemed to be sprinting their way but not challengingly, cautiously. And the opportunity came they were aligned with the speeders. What happened next seemed to happen all at once. The moment Qui-Gon began using combustion on the speeders, and line of well placed detonator the thugs planted in his home set off, instantly raising his house to the ground in an explosion of fiery wrath. Bodies flew in each direction due to the two instantaneous eruptions. Qui-Gon was knocked onto his back as he sliced a lethal piece of speeding debris. This was dangerous and rage inside Qui-Gon, the same rage he had when a bounty hunter killed his secret love during apprenticeship, the same rage that nearly turned him dark, began to slowly unravel...

"What a shame. What a pointless loss of life." Cin said with a frown. "Ah. I sense a few of them are still alive. Maybe we can lecture them about the futility of challenging two Jedi Masters such as us. Huh Qui-Gon?" Cin said with a joking tone but when he turned he was hit with a wave of emotion from Qui-Gon, "Qui-Gon? Remeber to control your emotions." He said before he switched off his saber and clipped it to his belt.

"I-I, my home. I came here to live, and d**n it to the stars, they took it from me"!, he started soft but ended shouting. One wounded thug lay down chuckling at his misfortunes, Qui-Gon picked up his saber, and with a rageful slash beheaded the man. It made him feel better, Cin didn't seem to understand. "I--I'm weak, that's why I'm not near Obi-Wan or Anakin. If they become like me, weak, an emotional wreck, then they will turn. They wouldn't be able to handle it. And now, now I'm not sure I can anymore", he scowled as he killed another and dropped to his knees.
