Nihilus stood aboard hsi ship the ravager waiting for Lanyx to return from the Attack of the Jedi temple where he would undergo a challenge that Nihilus would create for him apon the the currently stormy planet of Ilum. Nihilus looked on for Ilum was a beatufull planet where there would be the lightsaber crystalls. Nihilus then mediated waiting just waiting for Lanyx to return and Nihilus was confident about Lanyx returning because with Lanyx's power and help the rebuplic would never be able to defeat his grand army of Sith. Nihilus studied Lanyx for his future was clouded and there was uncernty in which Lanyx could handle the power which held inside him.

Lanyx had been gone longer than he had expected. There was something about seeing the Jedi temple in ruins that he just couldnt help but want to take in to its fullest. Now satisfied with his work he headed to meet with Nihilus on the planet of Ilum. Lanyx did not know what would await him on this planet and didn't much care. His squadron had made it back without a single casualty and he was happy with their acheivment. Soon enough if this continued they would be something more than fear itself.
Arriving in his shuttle on the planet's surface Lanyx set down near the Ravager. He quickly hurried to the bridge in search of his teacher. Each second wasted was a moment of his life he would not be able to fill with his revenge and this was not something that pleeased him.
"You summoned me." Lanyx stated as he turned to face the shadowy cloaked figure now standing before him.

"ahhh Lanyx i was expecting you to be here early, but nevertheless you must undergo your first part of your training to become a more powerful Dark Lord of the Sith in History. this planet you must know is filled with hundreds of cyrstal caves. Crystals that bear in all lightsabers, it is their core these crystals and there is one rare cyrstal that i must have it is the crystal that was possibly held by the all powerful Darth Revan but the artifact was indeed rediscovered by Suvam Tan. Revan purchased this crystal from Suvam Tan near the end of his search for the Star Forge, as well as another legendary crystal, the Heart of the Guardian. He discovered that when placed in a lightsaber, its properties altered depending on the other crystals the lightsaber carried; though it always enhanced force abilities. I will not tell you where or what crysta looks like,l your looking for if you understood what i told you about was that it is the rarest of all crystals on Ilum and can only be found if you are able to feel the force draw you closer and closer and closer to reaching your goal. You see my young apprentice this mission will teach the ways of survial because you will be striped of all your equipment," Nihilus then used the force to strip all the equipment off of Lanyx which he then gave to a Sith Servant to him aboard, "and the only way you would find it would be for you to survive on your own insticts an your ability to use the force! Failure would be the death of you. So dont fail me! Luckyily the weather is a very stormy weather opon Ilum so this will be a most diffcult task. Now off my apprentice, go and compelte this task and your first part of your training, remember use your insticts and your force ability in the ways of the dark side cause only then you will be able to find the Mantle of the Force." Darth Nhilius then left Lanyx in the throne room aboard the Ravager and went to his mediatation room where he mediated useing the force to watch Lanyx's every move on his quest.

"What does he think this will accomplish?" Lanyx thought to himself as he was stripped of his equiptment. "Does he really think that this will hinder me completing his pathetic little task? It seems my 'Master' underestimates my skills. Maybe it is time that he sees just what it is he is dealing with." . As Nihilus boarded his ship lanyx began makign his way deeper intot he wilds of the planet determined to finish this quest so that he can begin his training.

Nihilus watchd in his meditation Lanyx journy into the abyss of the planet. He saw the crystal the great crystal "The Mantle of the Force"he saw Layx get closer and closer to his goal. Nihilus then felt the power of the Mantle of the force The Mantle of the Force was a powerful crystal artifact rediscovered by Suvam Tan and possibly used by Revan. It added a silver-cyan color to a lightsaber. Nihilus knew that that his great mentor Darth Revan purchased this crystal from Suvam Tan near the end of his search for the Star Forge, as well as another legendary crystal, the Heart of the Guardian. He discovered that when placed in a lightsaber, its properties altered depending on the other crystals the lightsaber carried; though it always enhanced force abilities. Nihilus knew that this crystal was a powerful element that he could use to make him more powerful than ever. But Nihilus knew that this crystal wasnt the real reason he sent Lanyx to go into the core of Ilum he sent him there cause there was a great beacon of the dark side of the force near the in the cave that held the mantle of the force crystal. This beacon was where the ghostly cone of himself. A cone of Darth Nihilus waiting for the apprentice of the real Darth Nihilus to meet in battle with the clone.While the clone woud be never as powerful as the real Darth Nihilus the clone has one thing in his mind. Protect the mantle of the force. There is Lanyx would be able to defeat the clone then Lanyx would soon end Nihilus's reign as Dark Lord of the Sith because Lanyx would have too much power to be called an apprentice. Darth Nihius saw in his mediation Lanyx killing him and he thought to himself he must find a way to stop the tradition of the fall of the master by the apprentice.

As Lanyx crept deeper into the caves he closed his eyes allowing the force to guide him on his way. The Mantle seemed to call out to him beckoning him deeper and deeper seemingly shutting out the world to him. Swift and silently he moved through the cave. the only sound that of the wind howling through the caves opening. Soon he would be off this wretched cold planet. He felt the power surge through him as he entered the main cavern . The crystals were close. His time was at hand. Soon enough he would attain the crystals and his training.
He opened his eyes as he entered the room eager to find the crystals Nihilus had spoken of and get back. He gazed around the room searching for the crystals but as he searched he could sence that something was off. He was not alone. He could feel the presence of something else and it was getting closer. Lanyx knelt down breaking one of the crystals that lined the cavern free and tucking it in the sleeve of his sith robes before continueing forward paying close attention to his surroundings.

As Lanyx crept forward Darth Nihilus knew it was time to summon his demon clone of himself. SO Darth Nihilus used a hard force pull callopase the cave opening locking Lanyx in the cave with no where to go. Darth Nihilus realized that the time has arrived and went into a deep mediation as the demon of Darth Nihilus iginted his lightsaber as well as his lightsabers flowlting around him using Telenkiness (OOC: Not only does the demon clone of darth nihilus has a a lightsaber buit he is using telekiness to make about 5 lightsabers surround Lanyx ready to strike at the comand of the clone). Darth NIhilus felt the full power of the dark side run up and down his dark and evil spine as the battle began between the Darth Nihilus demon and his young most powerful apprentice Apprentice

As The sabers floated into the air Lanyx closed his eyes. He knew that this would give him the advantage of being able to keep track of each of the sabers by following the dark side power that manipulated them. Stroke after stroke fell upon the young Sith assassin in a beautiful yet deadly dance but the young Sith was skilled and managed to spin away from their strikes and avoid the masterful stroke of his teacher. Nihilus was a glowing beacon of the dark side. His power radiated through the cave allowing his apprentice to sense his actions even before they happened.
Lanyx dodged flurry after flurry as Nihilus continued his pursuit. It seemed that all he could do was avoid the Sith lords attacks. Soon enough he was cornered. His back against the wall of the crystalline cave as the dark lord of the Sith slowly stalked forward. The clone stopped just short sizing Lanyx up before charging. It seemed like this would be the end of the young apprentice but at the last second he managed to roll out of the way causing Nihilus to carve into the crystalline walls. Lanyx rolled through, quickly getting back to his feet to meet Nihilus's gaze as he turned to face his young apprentice.
Lanyx began to charge his teacher. Each of the orbiting lightsabers swooped down in turn slashing at the youth narrowly missing their marks as Lanyx weaved through their destructive torrent. As Lanyx managed to avoid the blows Nihilus soon fell in line charging at his apprentice. He lifted his lightsaber high above his head determined to finish this as he met the charge of his apprentice. As Lanyx charged he flung the hidden shard he had stored in his sleeve directly at his master who moved to deflect his attack with a downward arc that left Lanyx wide open to use his martial arts mastery to perform a lunging spin kick to the exposed mid section of the clone that shot it's body across the cavern slamming it into the wall which was now razor sharp do to Nihilus's lightsaber slicing through them.
Lanyx paced forward stopping a few paces before the dieing body of his masters clone. "I have bested your challenge!" Lanyx hissed. The head of the impaled clone raised up to allow the masked face to look over his pupil. It slowly and shakily began to raise its arm and a slight deceitful chuckle escaped his masked lips. The force controlled lightsabers shot at Lanyx from behind in Nihilus's last ditch effort to deny his pupil victory but even this seemed fated not to be as Lanyx spun around in one lighting quick action opening his eyes and waving his arm in an arc firing the lightsabers back into the far wall with an impressive display of force control.
The spent body of the clone slumped over still pinned to the wall. Now void of threats Lanyx moved into the patch of crystals on the far side of the cave reaching down and removing the legendary crystals his master had sent him to receive. "This is what you wanted. Release me!"

Suddenly everything went black all was heard was Lanyx's body breathing and moving around. "Aaaahhh Lanyx you have done well, you have found the legendary crystal The Mantle of the Force. You were able to defeat that demon of my statue and now you must be ordered your next task. On the planet of Korriban there is a clan of Sith Elite warriors protecting a very important underground tombs of the dark lord of siths. I cannot assist you but your team of Elite Sith Assasins from my academy will assist you. These sith have been rebels agaisnt my sith Academy never wanting to be a part of what will happen that they always wanted to happen. So my apprentice go back to Korriban and defeat those elite sith underground in those tombs. Be catuious they might not be able to defeat you easyily but they are able to defeat your sqaud easily because they poscess dark powers that come from studying those ancient and legendary tombs and they ride the sacret Force-sensitive Tuk'ata, or Sith hounds that also guard those tombs. This will not be an easy task. SO be smart and become one with the dark side of the force only then would you be able to defeat this rebel sith clan. I will meet you there after the task is done, i have something very important to reveal to you why i have this crystal in my hand" Darth Nihilus then using the force shows Lanyx the cyrstal which that bears with Nihilus now. " So begone my apprentice and may your trust in the dark side of the force lead you to victory" Darth Nihilus then vanished as the light was restored by the sky and Lanyx was still in the cave kneeling for he was kneeling for his master when Nihilus was with him spiritually. Lanyx then journed toward his ship where he would set course for Korriban.
